This site does two things: it lets you leave your email, and it lets you try Bell. Here is what each one keeps, in plain language.

If you leave your email

We keep the address, when you sent it, and which page it came from, together with the technical details every web request carries (your browser and IP address, used to keep bots out). We use it to reply to you. It is not sold, not shared, and not added to any marketing list.

If you try Bell

  • Your microphone audio streams to our own server while you talk. It is turned into text there, and Bell answers.
  • We keep the audio and the text of what you said, Bell’s replies, and the timing of every turn. That record is how we fix what breaks and how we make Bell better.
  • Your access code, and each time it is used (when, how often, from which browser), is recorded. The code is remembered in your browser so you can come back in; clearing the site’s data in your browser forgets it.
  • Nothing about you is profiled or sold, and nothing is used for advertising.

Who handles the data

  • Cloudflare hosts the site, stores the emails you leave, and relays mail sent to our addresses.
  • Google hosts the server that runs Bell during a demo, and our mailbox.
  • Speech recognition, Bell’s replies and Bell’s voice run on models we operate ourselves on that server. No outside AI or voice service receives your audio.

Each of them handles data only to provide its piece of the service.

What we don’t do

No tracking cookies, no third-party analytics, no advertising identifiers. The site keeps a couple of small values in your browser (your demo code, and whether you have opened the Bell page) and nothing else.

Keeping and deleting

We keep what is described above while it is useful for running and improving Bell. Email privacy@rabellabs.com and everything tied to your address or your code is deleted within 30 days.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes
